Miss Highton initially saw me for my first consultation in late September 2019 and listened to my story and how my gynaecomastia had effected my life since my early teens and throughout my adult life. Miss Highton asked all the right questions such as, have you tried exercise and diet?, have you had your hormone level tested?, What is your family history? etc. Only when assessing the above factors did Miss Highton talk about the surgery and how the surgery worked and the procedure etc, along with showing me previous surgeries and results she had done in the past. Miss Highton then sent me away with information and asked me to have a good think about the surgery. A second consultation was also booked. By the second consultation i had already made up my mind that i would be committing to the surgery. Miss Highton provided me with the reassurance that i needed and explained the procedure from top to bottom, at this point i was then offered a range of different dates to have the surgery undertaken. I managed to secure a date just two weeks after my second consultation. On the day of the surgery i was understandably nervous, but Miss Highton reassured me of the surgery and also answered any last minute questions i had. The surgery took around 3.5 hours. Upon coming around from the surgery i can honestly say i was looked after by confident and competent staff, who attended to my every need throughout the night. The next morning Miss Highton came in to check my wounds and my general health. From the beginning of the process to the end of the process i have felt listened to and ive been observed and advised accordingly. The outcome of the surgery is amazing and it has genuinely changed my life along with boosting my confidence. I am able to wear clothing that i couldn't wear in the past, along with being able to do activities with my kids that in the past i would avoid. I would recommend Miss Highton if you are even considering surgery!

There are too many great words to describe Lyndsey however what she has done for me has changed my life and I can finally be comfortable in my own skin. Lyndsey and her team were amazing and I had the best care before and after. She made me feel so comfortable from the start and I had no hesitation in going ahead with my breast reduction surgery. After searching for a surgeon for quite some time I was fortunate to meet Lynsdey Highton. From the first consultation to aftercare Lyndsey could not do more for me. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions no matter how big or small. She always gave me plenty of time to talk things through. She took the time to explain at every stage and gave realistic expectations of results. The results from my tummy tuck and fat transfer are fantastic. Way better than i every thought possible. At 5 weeks post op my scar is low and already fading nicely. My treatment in hospital was exceptional with Lyndsey visiting a number of times to make sure I was ok and check if I had any problems. I am very grateful I found Lyndsey for my surgery and would not hesitate to recommend.

Miss Highton was very understanding about my reasons for wanting plastic surgery. She had empathy and was very honest about what was achievable. She explained about the procedure both pre and post surgery and about recovery. I was very happy with the results of the surgery and Miss Highton’s surgical skills delivered what I had hoped for. The surgical incisions are very neat and are healing nicely. I did have a minor infection post surgery and I was able to see Miss Highton very quickly and she sorted this immediately with antibiotics and advice regarding looking after the wound. Miss Highton has seen me regularly post surgery and is happy to see me at any time in the future should I have any problems or concerns which is very reassuring. I have found Miss Highton to be a very supportive and caring doctor, very approachable and she has a very friendly reassuring manner with patients. I admire her amazing skills as a surgeon. I would not hesitate to recommend Miss Highton.
